How the Breastfeeding Butterfly is Worn
Instructions for use:
- Place baby in a safe and secure position whilst attaching the Butterfly.
- Take ties A and B and make a secure knot. This will sit on your shoulder on the same side you are feeding. Slip your arm through the hole you have made. The elastic should fit against your waist and hip.
- Ties C and D should be secured on the opposite hip either with a knot or tucked into your waist band.
- Ensure that you are comfortable and that there is enough room for baby to fit beneath the cover. If not, adjust the ties.
- Place baby to breast and feed.
Tips
You can also choose to express beneath your Breastfeeding Butterfly whether you are out and about or at work. Why not carry a photo of your baby in the bag? It can help with let down reflex to have a photo of your baby whilst expressing.
You can use your Butterfly bag to keep your breast pads, nipple cream and a muslin in. That way you have them to hand rather than fumbling around in a bottomless nappy bag.
